Dr. Benjamin Williams
Dr. Benjamin Williams is currently in the residency program for Dermatology at the University of Rochester Medical Center (URMC), where he has been serving since 2021.
Dr. Williams began his medical journey at the Marshall Joan C. Edwards School of Medicine, where he graduated with an impressive 4.00 GPA, showcasing his dedication to academic excellence. His undergraduate education was equally outstanding, as he graduated Magna Cum Laude with a degree in Biochemistry from Marshall University.
Dr. Williams’ dedication to research led to notable achievements, including being a recipient of the NASA Grant and participating in the Summer Undergraduate Research Experience (SURE) in 2014.
In recognition of his academic excellence, Dr. Williams was inducted into the prestigious Alpha Omega Alpha (AOA) honor society in 2019. He has also received multiple Strong Star/ICARE Star awards and University of Kentucky Star/ICARE Star awards for providing exceptional service, compassion, and respect to patients.
Beyond his academic and research achievements, Dr. Williams is actively involved in teaching and mentoring medical students and residents. He has served as a Medical Student Mentor, guiding aspiring medical professionals on their journey. Dr. Williams has delivered academic lectures on various dermatological topics and has been an integral part of educational programs at URMC.
In addition to his medical pursuits, Dr. Williams is an entrepreneur and innovator. He founded NOVO Skin, an e-commerce website selling high-quality skin care products.
